The Spirit Coming Down
OK, so the last week of our journey into the deep has brought out some amazing things in all the guys, the Holy Spirit has come rushing into our camp and totally rocked us in some incredible ways. The Lord is bringing liberation and freedom from our old ways of thinking, He is coming in a crushing old thought patterns, and He is bringing freedom! Christ is the ultimate freedom giver, and He is holding nothing back.
We as a group are making commitments to sharpen one another, to go deeper in the Word, to keep each other accountable, to pray for each other, to fight for each others hearts, to be a wild man for Christ! This group of men, brothers in Christ, are daring to straight up go for it, to hold nothing back, even if it is hard, even if it gets tough, these men of God are going to fight for our freedom in Christ no matter the cost! The Holy Spirit is alive an well out here in the wilderness, and He is after something big. He needs some true warriors for Christ, and He is challenging us to step up.
It is an incredible blessing to be around these men of God who are hungry for more of the Spirit. I ask you that you all pray for boldness, for strength, for perseverance, for openness, for honesty, for passion, for a crazy fearlessness to rise up in us, as we go full speed ahead into what the Spirit wants. Pray for mercy and grace as we as a group open up to each other and become vulnerable and even woundable in the hope of sharpening one another and getting to the deep parts of our hearts, our souls, and our spirits. Pray for courage to live from the deepest parts of our hearts and to allow the Spirit to come down and totally wreck our worlds so that all we have left is Him. Praise to the Father.
