Since you have last heard from us, we have completed hiking the Chattooga River Trail all the way up into North Carolina and we are currently back at one of our favorite campsites from earlier on our journey. We have already come through many twists and turns along our journey, some more trying than others, but one thing is certain; the Spirit of Christ our Lord and Savior has guided our every step along the way. We could write for days about all the knowledge we are gaining about the things of God and his Holy Word, but what is truly important is that through this knowledge and the time we have spent seeking His face, we continue to grow closer and more intimate with our Lord and creator each and every day. Every single day God has been revealing new things to us through His word, situations we come across, His beautiful creation all around us, and also in many other incredible ways. As a group, we are really beginning to form bonds and friendships that are allowing us to further encourage each other in our own personal spiritual walks. We have been taught that accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is not simply a commitment to change our lives but to exchange our lives for Christ. Keeping this in mind it is becoming more and more evident that nothing truly good can come from us ding things on our own but only when Christ in us works can we truly glorify God through our actions. We are all learning that there is nothing we can do ourselves to obtain true righteousness, but when yoked with Christ, we can truly live a life consumed by the Spirit and become intimate with our heavenly Father. All of these revelations and teachings are truly gifts and blessings from the Father and we are all excited to share personal stories and revelations when we return. We thank all of you guys for your support and your prayers and we ask you to continue praying for us as we complete the rest of Journey.
God bless you all!
