I feel alive and it’s because I see and feel God every second of every day.
Physically, Utah is a demanding place and a place of extremes, but we are rewarded around every turn by pure beauty. Beauty that man couldn’t even imagine without seeing with his own eyes and only God can create.
But it’s not because of my surroundings that has made me wake up. It is in my soul that there have been changes.
I’ve learned to silence my mind to in order weed out all of the worldly desires that have become human nature to want. So now I can open my mind and heart for God to pour in. It feels great to get closer to God to soak in the wisdom that he has given me and the others on the trail with me. It excites me to think where God will lead me next.
All of us on the trail have grown so close we’ve created a family connected by the Holy Spirit. We’ve learned to rely on each other and help each other spiritually and physically on a day to day basis. It’s a constantly positive atmosphere that we live in.
I do miss my family and close friends daily, though. I can’t wait to see your faces. I love you.
All is good is on the trail.
